Hi everyone,
I finally got around to registering after lurking around for a little while. I stumbled across the forum after Googling "Wicked Lasers" (I saw their banner ad on a website) it piqued my interest in finding out more. I can definitely say I've found out at least 1000% more about lasers in the past couple weeks than I could have imagined.
I really want to tinker a bit and try building a laser (or two, or more)... looks fun and interesting. The DIY process, experimenting, troubleshooting, etc. really interests me, and the more I browse around here the more I want to jump in with both feet.

I'll get around to updating my profile soon. In the meantime I'll keep on reading and learning.

Thanks for the welcome lasersbee.
I've ordered a host and driver, going to pick up a diode and heat sink in the next month or so. I want to find a reliable source for laser glasses/goggles that is either in Canada, or will ship to Canada without having to pay massive shipping fees.
Now... on to reading FAQ's and tutorials! :)
