well even if they are lost because the shit with the strike, those are stuffs that can happen. Especially with a company like canadapost. but there are no other normal-priced option for your company and there are always riscs with canadapost so i would appriciate it if you at least could ship this week. i wont cancel my order though, but would be nice to have before i leave on holidays. but its fair and good that you want to see mail flowing again...But then you also should look at other people mailboxes, for example in your city.

Maybe the French socialist influence is showing down resumption of services post-failed-strike in Quebec

Perhaps the fact that Vancouver is a customs hub shaved a day off my wait. That said, montreal is too, so if you're close to (or in) montreal, maybe today will be your lucky day.

I'm in a rural area about 100km from Montreal..

The Mail Person passes by here near noon... and my
mailbox is still empty...

It just dawned on me that Friday is Canada Day and the
Post Office will be closed until Monday...
If it's not one thing it is another...

If I just get one piece of mail (even a bill) tomorrow....I will
try to ship before Friday....

Ive received some mail yesterday (Tuesday)on both letters and packages I was waiting for, and the same for today.
it isn't comming all at once (probably due to them being backed up to hell?) but sure enough its comming.

I got mail delivered yesterday and today. Also shipped something out at the post office outlet nearby. I'm happy to be back in business, but this whole thing has left me feeling less than warm and fuzzy towards Canada Post.
