Has anyone seen this diode? HL6388MG

Think these can be found on ebay.

Not worth it considering the 200mW (or 150mW?) single mode version costs about the same.

Why would 400mW of red multimode be useful up against 500mW+ from cheaper Mits 300 diodes?

What I'm more interested in right now, is finding the Mitsubishi 180mW single mode diode for a decent (non HL63133DG range) price.

Plus they are too damn sensitive. Go just a few mA over the spec sheet and you have some nice paper weights. I lost two when they were $150 each.:cryyy:

Yeah, I was thinking more of 650-660. I was overlooking that 640 is really more of a 635 than a 650. Unless they really climbed in nm with current.

My mind was in "find a higher power red" mode. I was looking for something better than LPC826.

Oh well, if you are really into wavelengths, it might be interesting if you could push it into the low 640's?

P.S. I didn't realize you had tested them. I could swear that I did a search and didn't see them on the forum. But apparently I was just up too late last night. I see they are elsewhere on the forum. Sorry guys.
