Peace be upon everyone,
Briefly something about myself: I'm an Asian dude living in Belgium married and I have a son of 4 years old.
I'm a noob concerning lasers, but very thoroughly I try to accumulate the knowledge around the subject.
Because I read a lot on Google, eBay and YouTube I often stumble on links to LPF.
So I decided to became a member...
By now I have learned that lasers are not just toys and are very dangerous, everyone should have goggles because they can blind you instantly.
Cheap lasers from eBay are often underestimated and mislabeled, their real output can be much higher and they lack of IR filters.
For a beginner they can be good to start with but on the long run better options do exist...
With safety precautions and in a controlled environment those are alright for some time.
I read a lot about how to build lasers with good quality pieces in general and often names from persons or companies such as DTR ,Blord,Kevin, laserbtb, Skylasers and so on come on my way, to name just a few...
They just fascinate me a lot and I'm looking forward to build one myself, but I need to invest in the required tools.
In meanwhile I look around patiently for an easy kit and especially I'll take my time to study more on the other possibilities.
As a prepper since 2011 I'm also interested in flashlights ,survivalknives, waterfilters and equipment and all in a most efficient package as possible. And I'm trying to find a kind of survival laser.
Still learning how I want it exactly to be.
By now the Diving laser from laserbtb is very interesting, but I'm not in a hurry lol.
Best regards,
Dhul Qarnain
