Hello 
recently found this forum after countless hours of watching YouTube videos on laser pointers, diy builds, and laser technology. I'm extremely interested in laser tech, and how it can better mankind with energy sources, and communication. Also, I think lasers are just plain awesome! Im very new to this "community" but have had an affinity for all sciences for a long time. One goal of mine is to build a portable green laser that can burn (emergency situation) and for star gazing, as I'm very interested in "what's out there". It would also be pretty cool to learn new things, such as how to send information via laser beams( I think I read somewhere that our modern tech can do this or is close to achieving this) and to just learn how and what a laser is. I'm very much like a sponge when it comes to all sciences, but this area is my new obsession! Thanks have a bright day
