Green Lasers on Special at Dragonlasers

It is very rare, I wont argue that, but it does happen to me alot, heck, my blue PGL from the GB is rated for 20mW and that thing doesnt drop below 50mW... EVER:D

I actually think that frank gave me a cherry picked one to make up for jerking me around with shipping for 3 weeks, but IMO it was sooooo worth it, and is why I always recomend DL to everyone, nothing but great experiences here:beer:

I wouldn't even want to risk my money to them... They even have like $20 for shipping, Nova is better, because they are cheaper, and much better usually, altough it's all from CNI, which you ultimatly save if you buy from glenns group buy like me. My friend told me that his laser, had suddenly just died, and dragon lasers did absolutely nothing about it...

Well, he says he had many times.

You only get a 3-6 month warranty, 3months for the pen styles I belive, if it died after the warranty was up, then DL or CNI has no obligation to do anything about it, CNI would probably repair it, but you'd have to pay them to do it....

And DL gaurantees you will recieve your laser, in any country in the world, and if you dont, they will send you a new one, or refund your order price, I doubt that nova will offer that;)

Nova will have higher power to start with...

That wasnt even relevent to the quote you posted. Second, nova and dragonlasers both get their products from CNI, they are the same lasers, CNI doesnt make overspec units for one company and not the other, its all random, but some companys can 'cherry pick' the best ones of the lot.

yep! Glenn gets the 'cherry pick' every time we order! he should start his own business THANX GLENN!

He does get some very overspec units, who would have thought a 20mW rated 473nm PGL would be a 50-60mW one:D:D:D

whatever, I dont really even support nova lasers, and I'm saying that the viper 125mW is the same price as the CNI 150 from glenns group buy, and the viper isen't nearly the same power.

The GB prices are always cheaper than any of the CNI reseller companies. The point of using the reseller is if you want your laser in a week versus a month or two.

It took 2 and a half week to get a laser from dragon lasers according to my friend, and dragon lasers is also from China, You save money with the group buy and you get a higher powered laser.

Well, he says he had many times.

I'm calling bullshit on this one. I ordered a 125mW viper from dragonlasers last year, and I asked frank a ton of questions. He always, always, ALWAYS got back to me within 12 hours tops. I'd say thats good considering I'm in NYC and DL is in China.

How many times do we need to explain to you that DL is a reseller, which means the service is faster. Order from CNI and you have to wait for them to manufacture the unit + they are generally a pain in the ass to deal with.

As I've said earlier, I've personally ordered from DL, and I highly recommend them. Frank has very good customer service, and he even called me to explain the dangers of these lasers. Name another company that cares enough to do that.

My review is also on the viper 125 page.

Viper Series 125mW Green Laser Pointer :: Green Laser Pointer ----- 532nm Laser ----- Viper Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers

Author: Christopher H from USA – July 2009
I’ve been obsessed with lasers since I first laid eyes on a cheap red laser pointer back in 1997. When I first saw this pointer, I had to have it. Now some 12 years laser (not a typo!), I’m still collecting lasers, except now I seek more powerful ones than the 5mW pointers sold here in the U.S. I stumbled on to Dragon Lasers by accident. Upon browsing the site, I saw that they had a wide range of powerful laser pointers, and were priced very fairly. I thought it was too good to be true, so I decided to search the internet for reviews of their website. After about a week or so, I decided to order the Viper 125 mW green laser pointer from Dragon Lasers, although I will admit that I was a bit worried ordering from a company that was halfway around the globe from my house.
Frank from Dragon Lasers could not have been more helpful with my purchase. He responded to my emails usually within 1-12 hours from them being sent (We’re 12 time zones apart). He even gave me a courtesy phone call explaining the possible dangers from neglegent use! Eight days after my pointer was shipped, it arrived at my door step. I could not be more satisfied with this product! The power is truly unbelievable; something you need to experience for yourself. I highly recommend this pointer to any laser enthusiast. You will not find a better product for this price, not to mention the customer service at Dragon Lasers is the best I’ve seen with an online website in a very long time. You will not be let down.

It's my friend... I can't be sure, and I dont see why he should lie, but I didn't say it was me, so I wouldn't know, all I saying it that the group buy sounds better because of the higher power, thats all.

People lie all of the time. Why? Who knows. If you haven't seen what you're saying first hand, then you're not really in the place to be commenting on it. Sure, group buy may be better if you want more power (not always), but group buys do come with their problems, and their ridiculously long waits. You have to weigh your options, and determine what's best for you.

He showed me the laser, and it was clearly defective... This isen't an opinion, I just dont know whether he contacted the site or not.
