is it 'normal' to see..'loading' above the rainbow logo at the bottom.. could that be why no googling?? search bar ATM??

so far its not going away--still loading.:scowl:
already refreshed.. twice.

checked again no go.. loading.

perplexed
good newz is got Maxwell working after ~12 mo.s of fails..if you have ilda PJ you need Maxwell & Helios-PM me for deal.

Odd, it is showing on mine just fine, flushed my cache to the beginning of time and still working as intended.

As a workaround though, you can use the following in google's search bar:

site:laserpointerforums.com (search_query_here)

I use that a lot to dig up info from sites that use terrible search functions.

I noticed also--no LPF search bar at bottom of page----was one of the best functions of the LPF site

It's still there for me; have you checked if it's still there on a mobile device or a different computer? Like Brad brought up it might be a good idea to flush any cache/cookies and see if that does anything.

What browsers are in play here? I'm on Firefox myself if that helps narrow this down.

Is not there on IE9, is there on Foxfire for me

Just checked with chrome and it is working there as well for me. I won't enable Edge to check it. I also turned off my adblocker on Firefox to makes sure that it wasn't blocking a broken page element and skewing results. Seems a good cache flush may be in order for those affected.

Has not worked for me in days, just says loading.... If I use Microsoft it's stuck on loading, but if I use Chrome it works.

Yeah, I moved to Chrome awhile back when Microsoft screwed up my email account there. It seems okay here too.

Do you have an Anti-Virus installed on your computer ??
I'd run a full scan just to be sure. Then uninstall any programs
that were installed just prior to the problems starting.

Maybe................ change your PC fixit guy... :D

Some programs may attempt to change your default browser from chrome to something else - as such there is nothing wrong with that as long as you are asked to consent.

What browser you use is eventually up to you, and it does not have to be chrome at all. As a web developer it allows be to perform certain tasks and checks more easily, but as a casual home user i don't see anything wrong with using edge or firefox.
