Good tripod?

What's a good quality stable and steady tripod to use with various size round body lasers? The universal one I got from survival laser is great for the price but I'm looking for a more heavy/stable one, thanks.

You should try a UltraPod II tripod, Mr. Wannaburnstuff and myself(will buy one soon for my Aquarius) recommended it to me and told me this works amazingly. Make sure to also buy the Amazon Clamp also since the tripod is actually made for camera's and obviously won't come with any attachments for lasers

I also use the survivallasers mini tripod for my smaller lasers, but for the larger and heavier lasers, I use the Ultra-pod II as Greenlander mentioned.
This is a very stable, yet compact tripod, and when used with the clamp from Isaac's "very cool tripod set-up" thread, is IMO, a great combination!

I bought a couple of these from this vendor. I'm very happy with them. Nice quality. I couldn't (and still don't) believe the price.

It's probably larger than what you are looking for though.

The tripod is at 39 dollars now instead of 9. Probably a sale/promotion.

Bummer. I just pulled the link from my favorites and didn't think to check to see if the price changed.

$9 did seem like a steal on that tripod. I don't know enough about tripods to say if it's a good deal at $39. It seems like a fair deal at the minimum.
