[quote author=darklandz link=1216255470/0#9 date=1218929864]whats this about the rigel changing wavelength? i havent had any bad experience with mine i got last year off pseudo. ive had the laser on 2-3 minutes flat and it seems fine though when the batteries are exhausted it sometimes gets dimmer then eventually goes dead.
recently i noticed the laser gets really bright after a minute or so (for a few seconds only) but this peak must be atleast 4-5mw :-/
Some 593.5nm pointers output 532nm in bad conditions, here's a good video Sawt made showing this:

That looks like he just turned on the red laser. The transition from green to yellow happened kinda quick. Was that really a dpss?

W:eek:W that's awesome. you have a very unique 532/593.5 laser there!
luckily im yet to face a problem with my Rigel, its yet to let me down.

hopefully in a month or two, i may look into upgrading to a vega-10 or a 10mw direct from CNI. i have seen a 20mw yellow advertised but i really doubt it'l be anything over 10mw  :-/
