As for the rate, that is pretty good, even great. But when compared to a board like
The largest Message Boards and Forums on the web!
or 4chan(Totally not a real forum)
or a lot of other forums it's on the smaller side. I mean, how many active posters do you see around here? Of course, this board provide more quality than many of the larger ones, but even so xD
 





Welcome! Good to see a girl get into something like lasers! This place can be a dramatic one, but I'm sure we've gotten rid of a lot of the problematic members so far!

Psh, dump the boyfriend and get a dilda :-P Just joshin! (yes, pun intended, and I can't believe nobody's made a similar joke yet...? On a side note, I remember reading through archives about someone who ordered a laser or flashlight from DX and got a, uh, toy instead. Then I see here about the ever-popular dilda-style laser. That's a google search that could have some strange results... but I'm getting off topic.) What I mean to say is Welcome! Theres something here for everyone, whether you just like to see neat things you can do with lasers, you want to build your own, or you want to learn the nitty gritty on how these things work, LPF is great :san:

So it took 19 posts for someone to mention something sexual in nature. Is that a record for a geek forum? ;)

On a brighter note(pun intended). The problem I see in the future is who gets to use the lasers first when a new laser shows up at the door? :)

Yep, the regulars might have got here 1st but everyone knew it was a mater of time. What surprises me more then the 19 posts it took was that 3hrs & 25mins went by before the perving.
If the pervs go crazy, instead of letting an admin/vet know, I say just see if Dave still has that RF CO2 laser available. :san:

WELCOME TO THE FORUM, Bandanna's Girlfriend !!! As you've probably already guessed, laserists of your gender are indeed a rarity on this Forum. I, for one am PLEASED to see that there some females out there that are interested in lasers, especially since this is DEFINITELY NOT a MALES ONLY hobby. I hope you enjoy the Forum & get as much out of it as you can. There's oodles to learn, & plenty of veterans & noobs alike that are willing to help you out if you have a question. There's only a couple of basic rules that will make your use of this Forum more enjoyable, (besides the normal etiquette normally associated with forums in general) First, when you have a question, BEFORE you ASK for help, make sure you read through the "STICKIES & use the 'SEARCH BUTTON', ("THE SEARCH BUTTON IS YOUR FRIEND"). THEN, AFTER you've tried to help yourself, feel free to ask someone. Most of the veterans & some of the 'noobs' are fairly knowledgeable, & would be glad to help you out. The 2nd & last basic rule is, REMEMBER, there is "NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION". If ya follow those 2 basic rules, I'm sure that your time spent on the Forum will be most enjoyable. So, again, WELCOME TO THE FORUM !!!! (try & get some of your girlfriends interested in this amazing hobby as well, & then hook THEM up to this Forum. LEARN & ENJOY !!!!! rob

The only thing she likes are my Kaleidoscope "Firework" laser and my Star projectors

from electrofreak-Welcome! Girls are a rarity here, in fact the only other one i can think of is Schrecken_Licht, and she's quite brilliant when it comes to lasers.. no pun intended.

Nah there are more-are you forgettng Merry? and IIRC a few others. BTW T_J behave yourself!!! & don't even ask about that sealtbelt tightness in Bandannas avatar ,,OOPs I just did --sorry-- the ole' horndog came out in me.. No Wories at 62 all the authorities can charge me with is 'assult with a dead weapon' :drool:J/K ... not dead yet!! WELCOME to LPF Little lady.

You guys are lucky you are all hilarious lol.
But to clear some things up, I've failed to mention that BulletHarmony and I a have been in a long distance relationship for the past two years. She lives in Florida and I'm in Texas. We visit eachother when we can which.. really isn't as much as we'd like =/ BUT, we do get by with phone calls and other methods of communication. I'll be visiting her for a month or two during the Summer :) which is the longest we've ever been able to be together at once. The following summer she is planning to move to Texas and we will live together while we go to school.
