Totally debunked my ass, those vaccines have caused all kinds or trouble, I have had joint pain ever since about 2-3 weeks after that dam vaccine.

You gotta be kidding. My daughteris in her 40s, Obama's are in their 20s. I could easily prove my daughter is mine as she has my eye color and myopic vision. MAGAs are all about conspiracies, but this one is particularly stupid!

Oh, well that's definitely the vaccine, or is it? You seem to conflate two things that aren't causally linked.
 
The bond markets took a nose dive earlier this week with the yield increasing from 3.9 percent to 4.5 percent. That's terrible as people all over the world no longer see T bills as being safe. Gotta love these Trump tariffs.
 
Paul I'm going to have to ask you to please stop repeating yourself. I'm saying that as a member not as a mod. I get that you want to bash trump every few hours but it's getting annoying. Just saying
 
One of the protest signs from this past week was one that said, "Oligargle this!" ;)

There will be another protest in another week from today.

Direct-diode laser technology advances to take on fiber lasers​

It's interesting to see direct diode technology competing with the power of active fiber, could they be using quantum dot based laser diodes as well ?
Also of interest it says:
" The diodes generate the laser light, which is fed through diffraction grating to an output coupler. "
When they say diffraction grating I expect they mean brag grating.
This could mean a more compact laser system, but I am curious about the beam quality which makes a big difference between cutting and focusing over distance.

p.s. The article claims gas laser quality...... could they be using KE arrays, basically pump style arrays but the substrate stacks are quantum dot based ?
Because basically they are omitting the active fiber, otherwise it's the same system.
