RHD - did you meter yours with the included battery? I am wondering if you would also get the same results as eytyxhs due to the stock battery being garbage?

I have some good cells, but I will need to order some for my friends if thats the case.

Nope, didn't meter mine with the included battery. IMO there's always a benefit to grabbing better cells over the blue trustfires that seem to come with every darn laser I've seen

I agree, I'm just wondering if the battery was the cause of the unstable output. I've already ordered some good cells for the 3 lasers I got.

Its possible that its the battery. With these things peaking at 400mW thats a pump of around 1500mW. If these are really cheap 18650s it may be possibly that they are having a hard time keeping up. I have never seen this happen but I have only good 18650 cells.

I measured close to 3amps at the tail on my JetLasers 532nm, and that was only 380mw. These may be pulling 3+ amps then I would guess.
