Gamer Thread: What are your games?

Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Binding of Issac, CS: GO, and random games from my library(139 games)
 





Anyone with a PS4 should check out "Order 1886". Steampunk game set in Victorian London. Makes me want to buy a PS4 lol
 
I believe my username on Battlefield 4 is Alchemyst445. Anyone is free to add me as well, although I am not very good yet. Still getting used to it. More challenging than COD for sure.
 
Battlefield Play4Free (a rehash of BF2 with microtransactions, one of those games that Satan probably invented) is all I play now. Only play one or two times a week on my lunch break.
 
Played HL2 and HL, Bioshock, Metro 2033.. And I was addicted to EverQuest and ASherons call, then I played an MMO called Rift and guild wars 2 a little tiny bit.. I love MMo's and computer games in general over consoles..
 
Games I play on a regular basis:
Halo 3 (Xbox 360)
Halo Reach (Xbox 360)
Halo 4 (Xbox 360)
Garry's Mod (PC)
Minecraft (PC)

I also play through a lot of series type games that I don't often replay but still enjoy, like:
Mass Effect Trilogy (PC) (still need to finish ME3)
Dead Space Trilogy (PC)
Portal & Portal 2 (PC)

And then theres the random games I enjoy:
Fallout: New Vegas (PC)
Just Cause 2 (PC)
Star Wars: Battlefront II (PC)

Basically aside from Halo, I'm all PC gaming. I used to play everything on my 360, but as of late I really despise Microsoft.

Whenever the conversation with people online steers into gaming, I have found that there are two universally, written-in-stone rules about what people are quick to point out to me:
1)They have 9001 times faster computer than me, and always belittle me for not being able to afford the latest i7\SLi configuration
2)Point out that the only thing they play on their afforementioned configuration is Counter Strike 1.6 and freaking Minecraft.

Disclaimer, Kerbal SP and Minecraft in my games folder are my brother's. I only play actual games.

Kudos to everybody in this thread who doesn't believe in all this "latest games are worse than old ones" bullsh*t and actually does some gaming!

Guild wars 2 and have been playing since it came out. I do own a ps3 and love anything grand turismo ,lol and a 10.1 galaxy tab 2 . My computer is a i7 4930k, asus p9x79 motherboard ,32 gb ram,h110 corsair liquid cooled , 3 gtx 780ti video cards, 2 Samsung evo ssds etc. I built it to be seriously gamer friendly but really use it for some cad and video editing which it does like a champ.

Do you really not play anything else on a $5000 machine?

3x 780's, jeez. You don't think that's a bit of an overkill?
 
If I can find a game that keeps my interest for longer than a day, I'll do it !

My absolute reccomendations to everybody, ever:

Mass Effect trilogy (Sci-Fi RPG/TPS; don't believe the Internet, people are retarded, endings are EPIC)
Metro dilogy (unbelievable post apocalyptic FPS)
Transformers: War For / Fall Of/ Cybertron
Assassin's Creed (all games, in their order).

For starters :D
 
Hey Eudaimonium with 3 monitors, I see you have mirror's edge! That game is badass! And is that racing game you are playing a midnight club game?

Edit: however I will say minecraft can be a fun game to relax with if I dont have much time for actual games.
