Does it look the same all the way around?

It's the gear head for milkshake machine! (really want a Butterfinger milkshake right now)
 
Nope on all guesses :)

This can come in various sizes depending on application, but generally a "common" size for it maybe around washing up detergent bottle sized, but its VERY solid.
 
Hammer (just kidding about the "very solid" :p :D)

It look as a brushless motor, but i suppose it cannot be so easy ..... is it part of some machining system ? (as a tool, i mean)
 
^^ ermmm...difficult to answer that, Is it part of a machine? yes.
Is it a tool? I honestly dont know how to answer that, I don't know wether its classed as a "tool" or not :thinking:

I've seen similar things in the manufacture of chassis for machines such as computer chassis, hi fi chassis equipment, and many other.

Then maybe this is a tool used with a punch press, to make holes, or create patterns in the metal, or something similar.

A picture from the time computer displays only handled 256 colors, and dithering was cool?
 
Nope nope and nope.

The picture quality is intentional, to stop cheaters using Google image search.
