Everyone: Test results! First board working fine! (Except for dodgy pot that i accidentally turned too far)
Let it be known I have dodgy pot. XD
But yeah this one was done all by hand. I just got a brand new frypan to reflow solder on so the next batch should be loads better! I'll do a trial run of 7 on the reflow tomorrow.

Re the pot: I highly recommend anyone who has ordered only one (or everyone really) be very careful with the pots as they are rather delicate...
 
what's the value of the pots? (as in ohms resistance, not cash value ::) )
and what's the size of them? ...or could someone point out on the schematic which one is the pot?

I wouldn't mind checking my junk bin to see if I have a nice multiturn pot I could wedge in there.

Ironically, I know exactly where I've seen a pot like that recently... On a PS2 laser assembly!
It was in my junk bin, and the last time I was cleaning out junk I thought to myself I'd never need it for anything... guess I was wrong! :(
I've checked the PS3 assembly I got my diode from, but there's no pots it seems... there's unpopulated pads where they would go :(

Let us know how the soldering is coming... I've never done frying pan reflow before, but I'm interested in trying it someday.
