No problem RB!
What I have done on completed builds made of copper is to wet a lint free cloth with white vinegar and use it to remove the tarnish. It may be possible to use an acrylic clear coat on the freshly polished head with a brush. It might be worth a try as you can always remove it with acetone.Only my 2nd post on this thread as it's so
Lot's of emailing and shipping between RB and Lifetime that both kept it a secret that one was being planned for me. My ear's weren't even ringing:can:
I do know it would be a sin to not keep that pretty mod nice and shinny..On top of the 510 module I also don't have a vape host. I'm guessing the vape host itself is coated for all the handling they go through.
Clear coating the 510 would be a no no?? and Paul's method of vinegar soaking wouldn't be the best choice for a complete module build.
Simple metal polish?
It's made great time Pete, it was actually shipped out just 3 days ago and yes I packed very well.My package is due tomorrow via DHL
Shipped 5-6 days ago and 20,000 miles?
My mind tells me RB wrapped it nice and tight:beer:
Seeing though how members get their packages pretty beat up from DHL I will let you know how it arrives..
Now I just have to make sure i'm home all day:can:
hahaha, yep an hour's drive and only two sets of traffic lights...:crackup:I forgot to add your 1 hour drive to the DHL warehouse:crackup:
Only 3 day's ago?? Even better but I guess waiting for something nice always seems long
Nice connection to the counter lady..It couldn't be the first time she worked with you, too funny. That will be my 3rd fan from Dtr and liking it..I hooked one up to a power source but thats it for now. Really should start using one as it should be.
