Very nice. Will that become an option on the website, or is it a one-off?

Oh and any updates on the rgb? :horse:

Damascus steel is not cheap and hard to process, the guardian laser was our first attempt.

We do have a plan for a damascus steel RGB laser but that is gonna be limited (less than five) and they will not be cheap. :eg:

Does your laser pointer fit the adapter to use with line and cross effect lens? Also, any new discount codes? Newbie here, what’s the duty circle of the pointers why they are so much cheaper, besides housing and parts are there any surprises with these pointers over ur other more expensive products? Looking to buy the package combo on pointers 😄

I’ll answer 2 of those. Sanwu offers a 8% discount to lpf members with the code LPFOFF08. Sanwu’s cheaper pointers are similar to the cheap 303’s on eBay, but Sanwu conducts more quality control. They don’t build them, unlike their other lasers.

Shipping is more when buying 2 pointers ($10) vs 3 pointer combo ($5)

Reasons besides housings and parts--beyond how and what they are made of--what else is there to it?

They are mass produced, lowest cost, limited output power, generic, toy quality lasers made by the thousands and offered by hundreds if not thousands of resellers--not made by Sanwu.
Sanwu found a mass production maker/supplier that will consistently give them units with high output which Sanwu brands, tests/meters and resells.

They are offered to provide an entry level "throw away" cost type product for people who can't or don't want to purchase higher cost, better quality, made in more limited numbers lasers by Sanwu.

The package of 3 tested lasers that actually work for $40 is a good value--all things considered.

Saying that they are good value is pretty controversial, personally I'd just rather spend $15 on a red/green/violet bundle on ebay from a trusted seller.

Any news on the RGB?

We will hold 3 - 5 units for LPF sales, probably in the middle of july. LPF members who bought them would have the first glance of the rgb laser and post early reviews to help other members to make their decision . :D

Hopefully it would have been worth the wait, the RGB laser is built 100% for laser enthusiasts.

Is the price known? Considering how much effort and waiting you put into it.

Thanks for the news Podo, any new hints of the price?
