530nm diode? It's most likely a 532nm DPSS.

You can get 530nm diodes as well, also Sanwu only uses diodes in their pockets.

yeah i was gonna tell atom that podo only uses diode based lasers in his pocket series and that podo would also state if it was dpss, you beat me to it :na:

Is the duty cycle for the 490nm pocket still only 30 sec? It just doesn't make sense that it has the same cycle as the 800mW ones :thinking:

You can run the 490nm pocket a bit longer than 30 seconds but it's better to stop and let it cooldown if you feel the laser head gets a little warm.

just thought id throw you some cred Podo, I took both my pockets to a friends house and showed him the 505nm and the 488nm, he was truly amazed at the beauty of them both. i told him who built them for me :beer:
