Hello,
I originally bought this laser for the diode and driver, but I decided I would rather start from scratch. So, I decided to de-anodize and polish/upgrade it. It turned out rather nicely, and I was battling with myself whether or not to keep it. That was a couple weeks ago. I killed another 405 diode, so I am going to sell it to buy another and finish a couple other builds.
SOLD $215 shipped in US. PLEASE send as PP gift unless reputable.
Please PM me AND post here (for a faster response).
If you have something (like NDB7A75 or 7675 diodes) to trade, I am open to that.
Specs:
- Ndb7675 diode doing 1.9979 Watts
- Comes with G9 lens with a polished mrcrouse focus adapter (has internal spring for smooth focusing)
- 2.2 Amp x-drive for great color in addition to power and runtimes
- Runs on 2x 16340 or 18350 batteries (has label in the inside) *Not included
- Copper heatsink, durable 501b host
- 2 minute on/off duty cycle (being conservative)
- Beautiful polishing if I may say so myself (a few imperfections that I could not get out, but hardly noticeable)
- Bright blue color is noticeably brighter than my 2.3 Watt m462 laser.
And now, for the pics!
*from room temp, about 20ºC
*I cooled the laser to about 10℃ and got almost a 2 Watt peak! Laser was barely warm to the touch after the two minutes.
Still trying to get some decent beam comparison shots to 445, but my camera doesn't pick up a huge difference.
Anyway, thanks for looking!
