Cheers Lifetime17, have to agree although alot of data still needs to be collected, these diodes still produce an amazing color imo.

Yes we have to boil it down to were are the true 505's at for a nice price. And don't forget the so called 480nm diode to. The data fro both are 125mA not many coming close to their prospective WL .

Has the specific 505nm diode you're selling been spectro'd? It seems like from what I've seen around the forums that their wavelength range is pretty wide.

It's tough to say, EP. I only had three of them to measure, so it is hard to say what they all will do. Of the three I did, they were over 505nm, though, but less than 510nm at low current. By low, I mean 75 mA.

Hi EP,
Not Spectro'ed.
Its only been powered up @100mA with my Benchtop PS for a visual check and for the photo.

I compared it to a 520 and 532 on hand and there is a massive difference visually. the 520 looks yellow, and the 532 looks like golden sunshine, would be interesting to put a 589nm next to it ;)
