FS: Meredith Glass Lenses Fit For AixiZ! +20% Red!






Will there be any change between the current optimized for red lens and the new proposed "650" lens? I'm debating waiting but it might not be a good idea, especially if Meredith switches to the broad band style lens
 
The lenses I tested were giving the same increase for red vs AixiZ acrylic as the 'optimized for red' Meredith glass lens... 20%

But I still don't know if I can get the right pricing on the new lenses.

For now, I will be getting a few more from Meredith. Even though they have already went to their broadband lenses, and have no more 'optimized for red' bare lenses to sell.

But after talking to them, I found out that they do have a few of the 'optimized for red' lenses that are already installed into the Meredith modules... And because I have tested their new broadband lens, I knew that they are the exact same diameter. So I asked them if they could remove the lenses I want, from their modules. Because they could still use the modules with their new broadband lenses.

So I will be getting a few more red lenses. But they asked me to wait until after the holiday, because they are in the process of moving...

If you have one of these (new style 'dilda') lasers from DX, and you would like to fit a Merediith glass lens in there for a minimum of 20% increase in power, just let me know! :D

Update:

Well, I received my new 650-G-1 glass lenses, so I am now offering them!

Recuced pricing too!

Meredith is no longer selling their 'optimized for red' glass lens. They have their new broad band lens now. Their new 405 coated lens is a broad band coating that is decent for both red and blu-ray. But not as good as the 405-G-1 glass lens for blu-ray.

And not as good as my 650-G-1 glass lens mod, which is the same power increase and beam profile as Meredith's 'optimized for red' glass lens was. Here's my 650-G-1 glass lens mod:

My 650-G-1 glass lens modifications (fit for AixiZ) give the best performance for our red builds. The same 20% increase in power for red vs AixiZ acrylic (back opened), and the same beam profile as the discontinued Meredith lens.
 
For the assembly is as shown in this picture. I have 650-G-1, or Meredith. Either one. They will be the same power for red...
