Re: FS: lpc815 sleds(long open can diode)---13$

thats fine with me take ur time ;)

Re: FS: lpc815 sleds(long open can diode)---13$

It's cool for me too. The flexdrive that I will use is not available anyway. Okey so here goes anoter newbie question:
1. I can use the flexdrive with this diode right?
2. It fits in the aixiz module just like the phr 803 diode right?
3. What current is appropriate for this diode? (can I use the diagram and just put it at 0.45 amps?)

Re: FS: lpc815 sleds(long open can diode)---13$

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. 450 mA is good, but would require LOTS of heatsinking (or a ~30 second duty cycle). If the diode gets too hot, then it will die :(

Re: FS: lpc815 sleds(long open can diode)---13$

Okay, so another newbie question... What would the duty cycle be with a MXDL host and a jayrob heatsink? And also, what driver would be the best for that usage?

Re: FS: lpc815 sleds(long open can diode)---13$

Thanx!
I have more questions but I think it is time for me to open up a new thread for my build. I am plauging this forum with questions right now ::)

I would say 60-90 seconds on and 30-60 seconds off.

Re: FS: lpc815 sleds(long open can diode)---13$

it also depends on what current you have the driver set to. the higher the current, the more heat is generated. if your going to push it pretty high then yes, use a duty cycle of 1-2 minutes on to ~1min off.

EDIT: i forgot how much of a royal pain in the ass it was to get verified with paypal. worse comes to worse i might have to ship on mon or tues. i couldnt add my bank account since its already on my personal account so i had to start a new online checking account and having to verify the small deposits and such is begining to be a royal pain in the ass. paypal wont let me print labels w/o adding a backup funding source which makes no sense b/c you guys money is in there now. i dont understand why i have to have a back up funds source when theres funds in the accout! >:(

Hey i went through this a few months back. All you have to do is call the bank the next day,and as for the most recent Transactions. and then pick the 2 smallest amount's which will be the one's paypal deposited.
