The handling of the comment shouldn't be an issue because the comment should have never been made. That is the bigger issue here.

I agree his response could have been a bit more gentle, if that's what you're into, but this isn't the first time it has happened to him. Every time he posts something for sale, all of which are very high quality (because this guy KNOWS what he's doing with lasers on level that most of us will never reach) some kid pops in and says "I'll never pay that much" or "that is way too expensive" so I can see why he responded the way he did. I'd be sick of it too.

I agree with you in theory, but the unfortunate truth is that comments that shouldn't get made do get made all the time. It's all about how you handle them. Life itself is all about handling situations (or comments) that sometimes shouldn't happen. Does that give us each a license to act like a complete moron when we run into one? I think/hope not.. Be the bigger man.. don't flip out.

One final point...he made a statement...he did not ask a question...electrofreak...are you even reading my post? I asked you once before to POST THE QUESTION HE ASKED.. TJ at least realized that it was a statement not a question. It was a rude statement and it deserved a rude response..anyone would do the same thing if they have ANY integrity.

bottom line...i was insulted, and i defended my self, possibly too harsh, I was in a bad mood...whatever. Neither Electrofreak or TJ have said one word to the offensive comment he made to me.

I said it before, if you are in a store, you are talking to a human human emotions come out on the internets people are typing and emotions are lost in translations.

It is real sad that he made that comment that I reacted to poorly to, but it is over. IF you choose to not buy from me that is your gig. But I assure you if I offended you you would defend yourself, possibly more tactfully but you would have defended yourself / position.
