hi, After test all my design fully i can show to you full information of these driver:

1. Kdriver buck bare 13.7 x 9.8 mm and round 17mm: 19.9$

  • Input Voltage Range: 3 to 17V
  • Adjustable Output Voltage from 0.9 to 6V
- Max out current is 2.6A and can been up to 3A depend to your power
- I test in 2' not heatsink at 1.9A but for safetis you need heatsink if current than 1.5A for longtime use
- The range of adjustment on the pot :
+ approximately 400mA to 1.1A
+ 800mA to 1.4A
+ 1.1A to 1.8A
+ 1.7 to 2.6A
  • Programmable Soft Start : 0.1s , 1s or 2s
  • Power Good Output
  • 100% Duty Cycle Mode
  • Short Circuit Protection
  • Over Temperature Protection

  • Topology: Boost (When operating, Vin must be below Vout/diode Vf)
  • Over Voltage Protection
  • Over Temperature Protection

  • Vin: 2 - 24V
  • Vout: 2.5 - 28V
  • Iout: 70 - 1500mA+ (depends on Vout)

Very cool! I'll likely be trying some out :) Appreciate you sharing with the community.
Question on the 2nd (boost) driver. I do not see a potentiometer in the pictures - how is the current adjusted?

Thanks again!!

Dear, cause i haven't solder it into driver yet for fix max 1.5A . It here:

I received and tested three drivers sent to me for testing. Unfortunately, they do not regulate current at all. I received a linear, a buck and a boost driver, But they wren't able to regulate current when used on an appropriate test load. I thought they might be voltage regulators, but even at different loads, they didn't regulate voltage either. Since the numbers used on the semiconductor devices have been shanded off, I didn't try to figure out what might have gone wrong with these drivers. Sorry for this late reply, but I couldn't find the appropriate thread to post this information to.

Hi Paul,
Wow thanks for testing these drivers, as you know we always need new drivers. But as your test results are found these drivers aren't up to the job. Its very well and good that the tested drivers didn't function properly. There for if anybody purchased these they might have lost the diode and we dont want that now do we. So from your analysis I guess this is a go home and do it again for Thanhtung.

Rich:)

As the resistance of the laser diode can change with temp the driver must regulate current to the laser, any make-shift type deal working within a temp range would result in varying laser output beyond normal heat fade ( also potential failure ) and as we wish to fine tune the output to our heat sink and duty cycle the driver really needs to regulate current.

Thanks for testing these new drivers, Paul, it's too bad they didn't work out, as Rich stated, we're always looking for a good source for new drivers.
Hopefully thanhtung can figure out the problems, and make these an additional source for our driver needs.

Nice Pics !!! SO ….So What ?????? WTF ???? Who has tested ???? Test results ????
Details, details, details ????? NEED DETAILS !!!......Until Paul has tested....I will not
touch them....with the proverbial "39 1/2 " foot pole !!! CDBEAM

Paul tested kdriver , seem I don’t see more info! I send to paul 3 options ! And i test with a lot of my diode, it is run good

Thanhtung, did you happen to reconfigure your drivers to properly regulate current? It would be outstanding to have more driver options. They must function properly. Anyone can run a diode on a flashlight driver just fine. BUT, it will not last long.
Hope to hear good news.
SGD🍻

It is not driver flashlight! If yourself haven’t used it, you will be not know about it!
I tested it in very longtime before update it here! Thanks for your reply ! :)
I will have options higher in future

Hmmmmm ???? Confusing !!! I apologize if I was so....er...STERN !!! I really hope and encourage Thantung to develope and sell new driver options !!!
At one point....Paul tested and gave us the sad news....the drivers that had been supplied by Thantung initially.....had regulation problems...OK.....SO...here is where it gets.....tricky !!!

Well.....without taking sides....completely......Let us speculate there were problems......Did Thantung send a second group to Paul for testing ??
Did they work ??? Seems a simple matter..... either they supply a steady current....hopefully with a soft start curve....or they do not !! Paul....please chime in here....what is the story ??? I hope this confusion is cleared up !!! Thanx.....CDBEAM
