I just got my LaserBee 2.50W USB LPM a very short time ago this afternoon; once I install what needs to be installed and then reboot (as directed), I'll try this bad boy out on my pair of Arctics.

I have two more high-powered blue lasers on the way, so I'll be able to meter them immediately upon receipt as well!!!

Ok, using my brand spanken new LaserBee LPM, I read 719mW from my first Arctic and 708mW from my second.

FWIW I purchased on 06-07-11 (or "07 Jun 2011" if you prefer) and received it today 06-13-11 (or "13 Jun 20-11")

Me too, actually!!!

Now I can meter those pesky Class IIIb and Class IV lasers!!! :beer:

I'm currently constructing an informational web page about this instrument for my website; this is tentatively set to launch at 5:15am PDT on 06-15-11 (or "15 Jun 2011" if you prefer)...a matching post will appear on this BBS in the "Reviews" forum shortly thereafter.

Good Idea to store it in the Shipping box...
If you would have let us know in advance about your
work area... we could have supplied a Roll Cage and
spit/fluid screen for about $300.00 extra...:na::crackup:

Just treat it like an expensive and sensitive piece of
calibrated Test Equipment... It's a LOT cheaper and
quicker to take the time to take care of it than send
it back for repair....

And overall, I'm very happy with the unit. The logging software is awesome! :beer:

It seems that Canada Post is now completely shut down...
Needless to say we will not be shipping anything out until
this strike is over and the CP employees are back to work
full time..

I just got off the phone with FedEx...
They are overloaded by the Canada Post strike...

S/H to South Carolina in 5 business days will cost $114.63cnd...
I find that a ridiculous price to pay to send a $119.99cnd item...
It also requires us to supply 3 copies of 2 Custom documents
and drive to a FedEx depot about 60km round trip..
