sorry for not checking this thread in a long tiome. If anyone can teach me how to track threads that I have started or contributed to that would be convenient.

TO heatsink your lm317 just drill and tap one hole for lm317 and electrically isolate case from block. To mount your pcb you could do the same. The aixiz module when fully assembled sticks out .25" from each end.

I think most people have been using the "Add to favorites" button which shows toward the top and bottom of the page. Then you periodically check "My favorites" at the top of the page.

A better way would be with the "Notification" button. That adds the thread to a list, and you get an email whenever there is a new post to any threads on the list.

I think Notification wasn't working until about a day ago, when I started getting the emails. If it continues to work, it will be great. There is a thread about that: http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1237764322
