Hi everyone, I still have a few dozen of the Nichia blue diodes. No these are not the 1W Casio units, but they are 50mw brand new. Noted pricing is a bit more than the Casio ones, but might be a good fit for you guys looking for a bit lower power rating or this specific diode type.

Single Nichia Blue Laser Diode

445nm, 50mw

SPECS:
Optical Output Power: 50mw
Wavelength: 440 - 455 nm
Threshold Current: Min 10ma, Typical 30ma, Max 50ma
Operating Current (50mw) 45ma, 80ma, 125ma
Slope Efficiency: 0.5W/A, 1.0 W/A, 1.5W/A
Operating Voltage: 3.5, 4.5, 5.5(v)

These would be nice if someone wanted to make a good, reliable pen build and wasn't overly concerned about power - but $175 is still far too high to generate much interest on here, in my opinion.

Hi,

These are Multi Tranverse Mode.

Yah the pricing is defiintely higher than the less expensive Casio units - I don't know a whole lot about lasers but I do have some people buying this from me because they are saying the Casio or other higher output ones are not suited for their application <shrug>.

If there's any interest let me know!

Thanks for looking!

Cheers
