Now, the main reason for trying this lens, increased burning power.
As I showed in the vid in my sig, I could burn a hole through a CD stack base in 2-3 secs with the stock lens.

With the 405-G-1, the burn time was 6-8 seconds! I tried different focus points, different distances, that was as good as I could get.

Update!

I retested the 405-G-1 after I received a Radiant Alpha LPM.

I also redid the burn test. I determined the sharpest focus and got the burn times down the same as the 405/445 Aixiz (about 2 seconds):

My apologies to Jayrob for the error in the previous burn test. The 405-G-1 is a fine lens and Jayrob was very professional and helpful in my transaction.
