It would be most likely that there is an issue with your meter if yours has had the lower reading versus another meter on two occasions.

That unit has very little warming up time to reach full power.
 
Interested in the 473 lab. Could ypu send me a photo of the unit and PS? Is it plug and play or do I need anything to use with thr 5v set up?
 
What exactly is meant by "crystal set" (as in do you mean a pair) and do you have a set available still?
