Got my HENE in today.

Sweet. My First HENE. Came Well Packaged and Pretty Quick.

Wish I could fire it up, i will just need to get a supply for it which iam working on now.

Got mine today as well. Made it without a scratch. The packing job was as good as it gets.

So I assume the + connection is the wire with the red lines on it and the ballast resistor?

Or are those red lines supposed to be negative signs?

He will, without a doubt. These lasers are actually often taken out of a specific model laser disc player. I know that Sam personally buys a lot of these players, as the optics inside are quite valuable (such as a pretty large PBS cube). (Though you can't use the power supply from the player without some modification, but either way, Sam has a lot of these tubes and I'm sure he has power supplies for them.)
