yea 10440 batteries last longer, and all depends on how long u have it on, in that case with a 140mw br u should have it on short periods of time

And battery wise regular alkaline batteries will last around 15minutes

Regular alkaline batteries shouldn't even get this to lase, let alone last for 15 minutes. The diode needs 5V and the Rkcstr needs 2.2V. That means you need a minimum of 7.2V to power this setup. Two 10440's give you 7.2V (more when freshly charged). Two alkalines give you 3V.

jake, ik saw you posted this up on ebay for a short period of time, did you have any luck with that? i am thinking about putting mine up on there since i havent seen much action with them here.

don't do it lol ebay is getting really bad, i listed like 4 different lasers and all got took'n down. i tried different wording like email me for output power, one i put nothing just email me lol, but if it was up to me post it on here or u can try ebay if its under 5mw

it's just a matter of how much time you want to put into selling what you have. i put a lot of time into everything i sell and realized the easiest way for me to sell stuff was to create my own website and just be active in LPF. has worked out well so far.
