Thanks for the support, guys. :)

Is it safe for me to let friends use the old style if its limited exposure outdoors, no shinny surfaces around or roadsigns?
If not perhaps they work better for 405nm?

The old style ones really just take the edge off of it. I know someone posted a chart of their transmissive properties a while ago; they're less than OD2 for sure though.

I wouldn't mind getting a pair of the old crappy ones. Pm'ed

If these are your primaries, I'd rather you have something better. I might have an extra personal pair I bought a while ago; let me poke around for them.

^^^ What he said! Very generous thing you're doing for people..:)

Okay, just threw eight pairs of goggles in padded envelopes. Post office time! :)

Just PM'ed out tracking numbers to the domestic people; not sure on the ETA for the international packages.

Still got 9 pairs of the old goggles left if anyone wants some.

Wow, that is really generous!

My friend needs an extra pair for visitors. Would you be able to save him 1?

How much would shipping cost?

Thanks!!

To Australia... I'm not sure. PM me an address and I could probably estimate pretty well.

If it's cheap it's not gonna be fast. ><

Oh shnit. I just called him up and he said he just bought a pair :/

Dont worry about it :)

Regardless, thanks for doing this ;)

+1 when I can again

I know that Trevor tested these for 532nm, and I THINK I remember something about tests in either 405 or 445 (in an old PM = I might be wrong). I got one of the good ones from Trevor some time ago. It seems to be VERY effective for 532nm.

The old ones are prettymuch ineffective against 532, and mostly effective against 445 and 405. I'll LPM it tonight.

The new ones are quite effective against 532, and highly effective with 445/405.
