Did you do burning tests?

What is the longest distance it can burn a match?

Does it have On/Off switch or temporary switch?

i did do some burning for fun at about 10ft away and it lit the matches in a couple of seconds, but my hands shake too much and i dont have a tripod.
the button is On/Off, and you may press it halfway to act as temporary.

Haha! If you think that will be anywhere net 1000mW, you are sadly mistaken my friend. You might get 200mW, and probably 50mW of that being ir. Like zidabe said, go for it! It's your money, you may spend it how u want

The chances of that laser being anywhere near 1000W are practically non existent. Host is a relatively cheap component of the laser, so the hosts don't really vary all that much between $50 lasers and $500+ lasers. It's what's inside that counts. Most likely the tmart laser is around 100mW.
