Hi all,
I have access to good prices for the famous HL63133DG diode.
For those who don't know this little wonder, this model is the best diode currently on the market for red color. The wavelength of 637nm is three times more visible (3X) than traditional 658-660nm diodes.
With high-quality coated glass (FL=4mm for example), you can get a 1.4 * 2.6mm beam with a divergence of 0.65mrad, which is excellent. By comparison, a blue laser with 4mm lens (like G1) gives +- 3.5mrad of divergence.
About the power output, it is easy and no-dangerous for the diode to obtain 200mW @ 270mA (diode can be pushed at a higher current but this reduce the lifetime). The beam brightness is comparable to a >600mW 660nm single mode beam, and >>1000mW multimode red diode at a far distance, as the beam of the Opnext diode stays really tight.
Something important to mention too, the case of this diode is isolated, this means that you can use one driver for 4 diodes (beam show), by connecting them in series without harming them AND in case of laser pointer the isolation of the diode is interesting against ESD discharges.
Here is the detailed specifications PDF:

Prices are as following :
106€ NET/diode ; for 1-5 pcs
104€ NET diode ; for 6-19 pcs
102€ NET/diode ; for 20-49 pcs
100.5€ NET/diode ; for more than 50 pcs
You can take a look at Thorlabs, to compare their price ;
Thorlabs - HL63133DG 637 nm, 170 mW, Ø5.6, G Pin Code, Opnext Laser Diode
I add that 1% of the sales value will be donated to support the LPF forum.
They are in stock and ready to be shipped worldwide.
