lol well i originally meant that if you want to get a laser past customs you just have to not call it a laser but call it an led flashlight or an iphone so they dont take it.. if you call it a
1000mw laser then itl probably get confiscated. the text joke was to say the text will have the same effect as pointing the 1 W laser on your skin,,, itl sting.. alot lol

it is clear you dont know how customs work. custom agents aren't retarded and they dont go just by whats labeled on the package so that blows a hole in your theory. they use scanners, kinda like what they use at the airport/TSA. they can physically see whats in the package (to an extent) and since most lasers are built in flashlight hosts, sellers label them as flashlights. when custom agents see a flashlight host, it matches up with what is declared on the package. now if it was labeled as an iphone and the custom agent saw the outline as a flashlight, they will open your package and oops, laser is taken

lol well i was being a little sarcastic but i wouldn't really use the iphone as an description of the order but i think it would be pretty hard to tell if you just called it a flashlight, unless they see the diode or try to turn it on. i just ordered a high powered blue one anddescribed it to paypal as a led flashlight..

Alot of countries actually treat high powered hand held's exactly like a hand gun. In Australia a class 4 laser is on the same teir as a semi auto handgun. Mental..

Well to their defense you can cause a bunch of damage with a laser over 500mW, especially these 1.5+ watt 445nm lasers. They are pretty powerful but not handgun level

ya if i pointed my 1 Watt blue laser at traffic im sure i could cause some serious damage too.. but that can be applied to anything ,,, even a bunch of large stones ,,,

Im in the same boat, first off congrats! We did it hahahaha ive got one of Blord's 1.5W and love it. there isnt much difference IMO in 1.5W vs 2W. they both burn things to a crisp if you want :)

I need to decide what im getting myself for graduation too, well i guess my ARGMeter Ophir but i want a laser too :p greeeeeeed!
