Hello All,

I will look to add some images as I begin to consolidate my Images over time.

Here are some of my very early images:

In 1992, I had built a Laser pointer for my High School Science department, This was an interesting time as semiconductor lasers were very rare and very expensive.

In 1993, I wrote an article in one of our national electronics magazines on building a small Helium Neon laser both as a Lab style and a complete hand-held unit with batteries. These lasers utilised some of the smallest HeNe tubes available.

Awesome, I like old magazines with such stuff. It is always pleasure to go through them. One of my favourite books is Technical physics - university textbook printed in 1953 or something like this. That language, that yellow paper, that smell, that drawings.... And relativity was there pretty new, since the text was even older. ;)

Hey another “mad scientist” welcome. Just no fair burning the neighbors cat!

Ps, sorry Bowtie, gotta remember to leave the neighbors cat out of it.

I guess age is in the eye of the person reminiscing. 1992 I was almost 40 and that doesn't seem all that long ago. Still, these are some nice memorabilia from not only your teenage years, but from another country as I am i the US. Interesting to see what was going on there at that time.

Well done Flavio... Getting published sure
makes one feel good about what one has
accomplished.

I started dabbling with gas Lasers in 1986
and building similar high voltage power supplies.

Hey Jerry,

Thank you :)

Small world, as a number of years ago I purchased a couple of your early power meters... I may have to talk to you to get one of your newer models :)
