I am using one of your G-1 lens assemblies. I do notice that at about 4 feet, there is a dim artifact in the picture which I attribute to allignment. I trust your numbers more than mine right now.

I got the chance to play with these tonight. I didn't do a graph. I was just waiting for someone, so I built an MXDL with a Rkcstr to see what was up.

First diode @ 425mA = LED

Second diode @ 405mA = 222mW (605-G-1 lens)

Mine also has the line off to one side of the dot.

I am also getting a dim, circular artifact that looks like reflection from inside somewhere.

Let's hope that these are not the wave of the future. As long as the LPC and the GGW sleds are available, I will not be messing with any more of these flat diodes.

I don't even think that I will leave this diode in the host. I'll probably pop an LCC into it and sell it for cost as a 250mW burner.

Maybe the 3.6mm red will work out better, eh?
