After completing my Red build that seems like ages ago I decided to build a 405nm using Mohrenburg $20 host & H/sink (Great Job once again Mo )
It was pretty straight forward after getting advice on how to bridge the gap on the battery pill so I could use 2 10440's
I soldered a wire to the +ve tab on the Host

Then I soldered the wires on to the diode and attached them to the driver.

You can see a 3rd wire from the diode. This is from the case pin to the -ve input of the driver as the host doesnt have a PCB that some hosts have.
The current is passed from the Negative from the battery, thru the host then on to the H/sink and then thru to the diode case pin
The driver was taped up so nothing can short in the host and the + wire was soldered on to the driver.

The +ve wire was then soldered on to the host and then screwed all together

And now for the all important beam shots !!!! My camera isn't that great so please bear with me
It's running on ~130mA using 2 Trustfire 10440's
