I can't wait until summer and I don't have to rush... This is what I was able to capture before almost freezing to death...

I think next time I'm going to go somewhere to escape all the light pollution...

Nice clean beam shots JOSHUA! :)
I agree with trencheel, that color looks right on the money.

I feel your pain, I've had more than enough of this cold-ass weather.

Very nice photos! I would be real careful shooting lasers into the sky living in, or near a big city, especially with the FBI becoming more involved in the past week with lasers and aviation.

Nice, your camera is godly at picking up the beam accurately.

Thanks trencheel, when I first saw how the beam came out, I thought it looked pretty cool also...

Seriously... I think I'm going to start looking at moving south...

Thanks C, I can't wait to do something up in the mountains this summer...

Thanks Jim, I'm working with the Nikon D7000.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. :) +1

Lucky you have a nice clear sky.

I've actually been waiting for clear skies, haven't been to many around here lately...

Absolutely Bruce, and thank you! I was actually thinking about mentioning (in my OP) how conscientious I am about airplanes when taking lasers outside. When I took these pictures, I was way up in NH visiting a friend, air traffic isn't anywhere near as bad as Boston... But yes, people should definitely know what's in the sky before sending a beam into the darkness =)

Wow. Impressive beam definition! It could just be my monitor, but in the first 2 images it almost looks like the beam is darker than the sky. Weird and wonderful.

Have a +1.
