I'm finishing my first laser build and looking for parts. I have searched online and haven't been able to find a test load for an X-drive V6.

I'm also looking for some good batteries. I get too many results when I search for 3.7V lithium-ion batteries. Any specific recommendations?:thanks:

Why do you need a test load? IIRC x-drives are set current.

For the batteries if you want good ones check out the Panasonic 3400mAh cells. If those are too much check out the genuine Sanyo/Panasonic 2600mAh cells on fast tech.

What are you building? 18650's won't do you a lick of good if you are building a 2W 445nm laser in a C6 host.

You didn't answer the question, and you need to be more specific when asking a question. What size batteries are you looking for and does the laser use 1? or 2?

Thanks, and aaaaaahhhhhhh out of stock! :)

He gets new ones in often, I ordered when was out of stock and had to wait only one week. Worth the wait imo over paying survival laser twice as much for the same test load. I got the unassembled one and soldered it together myself.

Yes you still need the pill and battery contact board: DIY Battery Contact Board & Pill Module or you can buy them separate and put it together yourself: Drilled Driver Pill & Brass Ring and: Survival Laser Driver You must use the drilled pill or the X-drive wont fit.

You can't use those batteries as is because they are flat top, you have to use button top batteries in this laser.
