Is there a verdict out in the meantime what actually this diode can do? From what I gathered from previous discussions (which weren't nowhere near a conclusion at the time), it doesn't very much outperform a good PHR.

This diode is varies ALOT its a gamble like a phr, the phr varies alot you got very good diodes and very bad diodes, it varies ALOT.

The 8X seems to varie alot too but the 4x and 6x blueray diode seems to be the least of a gamble diode you can get, because they seem to be around the same power each not many under-powered and usally the least power you get is 200ma = 170mw but its usally 200ma = 190mw.


But with this diode you can not tell at all, testing seems pointless.

That's the impression I got; I even wondered whether you might get different diodes on this sled... probably there's no chance to conclusively find that out.

will you sell these ones in the sleds, or just diode in tiny heatsink? I prefer in sled, but just diode is ok too.

its just the diode....don't matter to me because the sled comes damaged anyways
