It's all very preliminary stuff since Health Canada only informed us of this new law recently. Also the actual laws are extremely broad and vague. We are working hard to come up with a clear-cut policy, but for now we can't sell Class 3B or IV lasers to Canadian consumers anymore. The vendor (that's us) can be held legally responsible for the sale of such lasers to consumers. We can only sell to companies or institutions that we can safely assume have appropriate safety protocols in place (in Canada).
We're investigating whether or not we are allowed to sell to consumers who have appropriate safety training. Trust me, we're trying to find a way around this. We don't want to lose you guys any more than you want to lose us.
Customers in the USA and everywhere else in the world can continue to buy Class 3B and IV lasers as normal.
