I didn't know there was a lighter community out there... Nice zippo's.

Thats very cool, I thought it was one of the modified BIC lighters. :) I'll check those out on DX
 
I have one that I found in NY. A few scratches, works but needs some fuel, still looks good.
The design on it is the Brooklyn Bridge. Probably quite old since it still has the Twin Towers on it.

Wow, memories. :)

TJ, I have one like that with initials engraved. The lid broke and I never got it fixed. I know you can mail 'em in and they fix them free. I used to love Zippos! I recall the many times I got a red burn on my thigh 'cause it leaked in my pocket :eek:
 
i have a few . here is my fav . go it in hawaii 13 year's ago i still use it almost everyday.

Dude that is hilarious. mine too. I've had mine for 24 years and the hinge broke about 6 years ago. I have to send mine in too, but I never get around to it. I think you can get envelopes at places that sell Zippos, but I always forget to ask.
