FAP 800 - I give up

I got the one with the broken terminal apart. When it got damaged, it also broke the fiber mount in front of the bar :-( The bar lights up so I may fiddle a bit with it to see if I can align it again.
They aren't soldered. IL555 - I think you are correct about a weld
Anyhow, I have a working bar now!!

I paid 15 dollars for a new FAP800 fiber assembly from a guy a year ago to play with I'm not using, if you want it, I will send it, but don't hold your breath, I am clueless where I put the thing among my piles of junk.

That one got dropped, I had hoped there wasn't internal damage.
