I'm not siding with anyone here, I just think that if he really is selling a certified product, we need to not judge so quickly.

I understand Frothy's point of view, and I understand why he would bash the product since eyewear that is not certified can be VERY dangerous. On the other hand, all I saw was frothy bashing the product and business ethics, not the individual or his ethnicity.

I'm ALL for attacking a product of It's not up to par. But Jax, I feel like you're making more 'personal' attacks on this vendor, and all because you dont know anything about him or the overall quality of his products. If you want to bash what he sells after you have an informed opinion then go for it, but personally attacking someone due to lack of overall knowledge of the product he sells isn't very cool.

Wow. I never meant to personally attack him but rather the fact that he was clearly spamming the forum with sub-par equipment that could potentially be very dangerous. I meant to point out that the readers of this forum would be educated and perhaps see through his spamming ways. That's why I said to go sell to some other rubes. When he said he thinks I/we a rubes, I meant to point out that it was coming off as ignorant.

I can see how it could be construed as a pissing contest and I would like to apologize to Henrystal if he took it as me mocking him personally. I have seen a number of excellent forums become spam dumping grounds and perhaps was quick to jump on him for being a spammer. I spent awhile in China and in no way mean to appear to be mocking the Chinese people. I only meant to try and dissuade a spammer from dumping here.

I am sorry that I did that in a way that was offensive in any way.

I knew what you were going for, I just noticed that it could've been taken the wrong way. Thanks for clearing it all up though, and I totally agree

I agree with JaxSmirkingRevenge, I could tell that he was mocking the credibility of the seller and not the seller's ethnicity. When I started up on this hobby, before doing my research, I was very likely to have fallen for this kind of stuff. I would guess that the comments on the Chingrish were meant with the idea that if you can't even bother to translate well, how can we trust you with something we can never get back?
