Eye Hole-No glasses

Not talking money we are talking about time, people spending time to do one thing or the other is still doing something rather than not doing anything at all.

I have looked at a light bulb and have seen spots before, got a sharp sun ray through the window blinds when I wake up in the morning, I didnt think it would be an issue and you cant go to the ER for anything you have to make an eye doctor appointment so as soon as I find out its permanent i will be upset but until then dont worry about it. I know a guy that was dumb enough to weld with out goggles and fucked his eyes up for 2 weeks before they went back to normal so right now there isnt a whole lot to worry about, right now its only irritating.

I havent trolled once.
What?!

You do realise you are not making any kind of sense here at all?

What does laser have to do with sun and lightbulbs? Do you think people buy $150 protection goggles only because they like their looks?!

You obviously do not understand the concept of coherent light at all.
Better sell all your lasers and find some other hobby, like origami or something, where the chances of hurting yourself and those around you is minimal.

Does anyone have any fuckin advice the whole reason I posted this, I didnt come in to get bitched at for a misunderstanding
If you blinded yourself with green laser, then shoot your eye with the red laser, since they are complementary colors they will cancel each other out.

What kind of advice were you expecting?! Magic?

If you look at the sun (dont but you understand) you see a dot as well if you were unaware

Cool Sarcasm you know what they say Sarcasm and Caps make you instantly cool, im sure people here have accidentally taken a hit to the eye by their own hand or others and know what to do to help the situation and if you pay 150$ for glasses you obviously are paying far 2 much.

(i used red cuz of the blocks.... get it?)

Looking at the sun cannot damage your eyes.

Looking at cheapo 30mW green pointer not only can, but will.
Permanently.

Lasers are more dangerous to your eyes than any other light source.

You do not understand that.

Ah... there is no point anymore.
I'm PMing c0ld.

You are spamming/trolling on this forum, and spewing out incorrect info which is misleading and possibly causing more problems for new member who are yet to understand new things about lasers, possibly putting them in harms way.
That is more than enough.

He's a pretty good troll, but a troll none-the-less. Don't feed him. Email c0ld about him.

Peace,
dave

I can't understand how someone would work on a laser with a momentary switch, especially working on the "business end", with batteries in. Between your legs? What were you doing, leaning over and messing with it?

Maybe you did do it. Personally I get nervous even thinking about it; and I think that's the kind of healthy respect you have to develop. Maybe you're well on your way there.

Consider yourself lucky that you only have a 'dot'. It could be a lot worse. You got a "warning shot" from the laser gods. Respect them.

... You don't want to spend more than $14 for goggles? You spent how much for your lasers, and you don't want to spend more than $14 to protect your eyes which are obviously irreplaceable?

THIS is why people are calling you a troll. Essentially you came in and said, "I nearly blinded myself - and did some eye damage - by doing something stupid, and I want to protect against it, but i'm not going to spend more than $14 to do it."

Do you see the problem there? If you're serious, I really think you need to check yoruself and your attitude towards lasers. Would you clean a loaded gun with the safety off while holding it between your legs?

No?

Then why would you do the same thing with a laser? Did you just think 'oh well I probably won't bump the button, don't want to bother with taking the batteries out.' That's not rhetorical. I'm actually interested in your thought process as to why you would even consider it within the realm of reasonability to do such a thing.

I am sorry Dave, I just cannot help myself sometimes.
He is basically posting as if pointing and blinding your eye with a laser is no big deal.

That goes against the rulebook (not mentioneing spammin'/trollin')

Directions to more depressive thread: Go to 'The kipkay report'

C0ld PMed 5 minutes ago.
I cannot believe I'm getting someone banned. I never wanted to do this.

Welcome to the mindset of a real veteran ;)

This happens when you start to really value the forum and the members of it.

Sometimes you've got to prune the tree for it to remain healthy.

Go stare at the sun if you feel that it can not damage your eyes, you start at it and yep your eyes are fucked forever, no one here will dispute that except for you.

Not a troll, I am going to email cold and ask him to review my posts.

Olike laser has a switch on the bottom so holding it with my legs I had no idea that something under the laser would activate the switch, (O Like 200mw new style) I thought I took them out but didn't check again before fooling around so carelessly.

Oh, thanks for the kind words, Dave!

Agreed 100%.
Made me feel a little better.
I just could not help to think, what if something was done in very beggining to prevend such misinformation from this guy?

No use crying over spilt milk I guess.

I really appreciate you considering me a veteran.
One month ago that was like... wow unreachable :)
:thanks:

He is saying that having to ban someone helps the forum so your mind set isnt quite there yet Eud

Actually, I was first to write a Personal Message (PM) to C0ldshadow requesting a ban, and directing him to these two threads we are having.

Anyhow, I really feel bad now as you probably see me as someone who is only looking for somebody to ban, which is exactly the opposite of reality.
I know that describing now makes no sense to you, since we are already on such therms.

I don't actually feel bad about the ban, as much as I do in creating an image of myself in your eyes right now.
I never wanted for anybody to actually consider me a bad person.

But writing such nonsense as you are doing now made me get over it.
Perhaps it is for the greater good as Dave says.

Perhaps something could have done in very beggining with you, to direct you to the right path. But you need to be willing to learn for others to teach you.

I don't know what to think and that is what's buggin' me.

I'm sorry. But I will not sit aside doin' nothing while you are saying nonsense about Kipkay and laser safety, of which last one is really important, and you make it seem like shining a laser into your eye is no big deal.
