Just curious if anyone has experience with using the burrs brown
BUF634 as a virtual ground driver for the Ophir heads?
I had heard these are very high quality opamps and that they are used in higher current situations. 250mA or so.
They seem to provide low noise characteristics and are sought after
in solid state ampliers.below is the data for the opamp

Here is the rail splitter schematic.

In another schematic 2 more capacitors are place on either side of the output.

anyone have some ideas? I know I have seen Jib's circuit, but I have not seen anything posted recently about if there was a kit available for the Ophir heads?...

The dual DC-DC convertor idea sounds also promising as well. However, I'm thinking to keep the space down this PCB will work nicely!

I could shoot together a smaller version of the board that was basically just jib's circuit.

Greetings All!,
I stumbled upon this forum to my great relief & delight! I am in dire need of a BUF634 based virtual psu to drive 4 x 18640 Li-ion batteries. I have already tried the Ti data sheet version, but the - rail considerably higher than the + rail. Then I noticed here that some of you guys have successfully built & using forum member,"Jib's" version of this circuit.

I'd be extremely grateful if someone would kindly forward or direct me to "jib's" circuit so that I may know what i've done wrong with mine!

Thanks
