Well I finally received my 3.6V CR2 batteries and charger....

I have a DX Red (Dilda) that outputs 179mW with freshly charged
3.0V CR2 batteries... 8-)

With the new freshly charged 3.6V CR2s my 179mW Dilda outputs
218mW... thats an increase of 39mW or about 21.8%... :o

Those 3.6V CR2 batteries should bring all the underpowered DX200
reds up to specs..... ;)

Yeah...I heard that the CR2 rechargeable UltraFire batteries increases the power by 25% - promising ;D

sweet. going to buy some asap. does anyone know the best place to buy them as now? I've found good deals off ebay, $14.50 / 6 cells, with free shipping.

FYI... those DX links are not for 3.6V CR2 batteries.... They are for 3.0V CR2s
This is a link where I got mine...

just bought the 6x batt auction. Good price, I've got coming from DX a charger for 3.6V ones so it will be good :)

I have heard many places that those DX batteries charges to 3.6V...
On the DX forums that is. :)

Do you think that the diode can handle that increase over a long period of time...  :-/
(...or are you the live-fast-die-young type ;))

The green 3v dx rechargable cr2 batteries say on them "The voltage of full charge and cut-off discharge is 3.6V and 2.0V.".

I  know at least 3 different voltages for lithium cells.

Labeld as 3,0 Volt
Charge to 3,6

Labeld as 3,2 Volt (LiFePo Cells newest generation lithium?)
Charge to ~3,6

Labeld as 3,6 Volt

Charge to 4,25

Labeld as 3,7 Volt
Charge to 4,25

Jerry talk about Cr2 labeld as 3,6 Volt they are not availabel at DX.

@jander
no its not!
Cr2 is normally not called by this numbersystem for lithium.
This cell is a extra long cr123a, extra long because of the protection circuit.
