I would buy this if it didn't take some rare/expensive type of batteries.
Seriously, can't they just make the things use AAAs like everything else?

i'm patient.......not a problem...hopefully the Red DX200 will keep me happy till this one ships.....I'm also on the LONG waiting list for the Romisen 30mw L-B030......as long as they are in good working order when i get them...im ok with the wait ;)

......judging by the reviews they are pretty good units........hence my curiosity on how they have held up.....
 
ok....just recieved it today....not a bad wait!!...its really nice and i have tested it in the pool already...water tight!.....photography soon to follow...
 
That could be a nice diy host too. A waterproof diy (maybe a 405) would be pretty nice.
 
LOL, I ordered a true 30 from DX, shhh, dont tell anyone, they sent me a true 50!!

im feeling sooo good!

Most likely a long time if there is good thermal contact between the laser module and the metal case.
