This laser does not light matches until you use a lens, and then it takes a bit of time. But if you want a cheap waterproof laser and I'm sure someone who does aquatic photography of fish etc. Then using this to lure fish etc from there lairs to photograph them, well this will be good to use.
I'm going to take this to a local swimming pool and do a pressure test on this unit. I would guess that 10-30 meters would be it's limit from the feel of it's engineering. But if it survives the pool test then I'd be happy. The pool here is about 5 meters deep which is most peoples snorkeling range whilst on holidays anyway....

very nice review timelord...i was seriously considereing this unit but was unsure of the quality of the "ultrafire" lasers. I'm kind of stuck between either this or the professional 30mw CR2 one, because I like the build of both, and the clicky on/offs

Cool laser you got man.
Nice pics.
I might be ordering one myself too ...

Nice one TL :D

Congrats on the overpowered unit and I'm glad it's actually water-tight :D :D

Thanx for sharing :)

Looks nice, and you must be lucky when it comes to dx, seems like you always get over powered lasers like the ag13 10mw ;D

Looks like DX is finally starting to pull through on their lasers! Nice review TL!
